Below are a selection of events I’ve worked on over the years:

Sierra Nevada “Still The One”, Charlotte NC - 2023

Produced a 2-day pop-up event for Sierra Nevada in Charlotte NC called “Still The One”. The event was free and open to the public, all drink proceeds when to a local non-profit called Charlotte is Creative.

It was a 90s themed party, with arcade games, a DJ spinning 90s records, live screenprinting of t-shirts, vintage clothing and record store vendors, a live painting session, food trucks, throwback snacks, and a lounge to watch sports and play NES.

My responsibilities: managed vendors and client comms, worked with event designer to get client feedback and manage graphics and rentals. Ran weekly meetings, created tracking documents for purchased and branded items from Sierra Nevada. Helped with accounting and closed out budget. Was onsite for load-in, during event, and load-out. Managed venue comms.

Virtual Events and Experiential Websites

I’ve worked on several virtual events and web-based marketing experiences over the past 3 years. From virtual company-wide meetings, shareholder presentations, and full website development for marketing and experiential purposes.

Most of these types of jobs were internal or private events/experiences, so I don’t have many pictures to share! The one I do have is from a Dell/Alienware marketing campaign “Defy Boundaries” where we made a gamified website that users had to solve a weekly puzzle to unlock prizes/enter a sweepstakes.

My responsibilities: sourcing virtual classes and guest speakers, managing comms with vendors. Digital asset management, tracking, and quality assurance. Script editing, closed caption integration, making sure websites are WCAG & ADA compliant. Keeping projects on task with project management software (Asana and Monday mostly). Working with creative teams to develop and edit still graphics, animations, and video editing for these events. Using virtual event software such as Swoogo, ON24, Cvent, Hopin, Eventbrite, Splash, and SpotMe. Tracking and helping with RSVP management and email blasts for pre, during, and post-event. Closing out and tracking the project budgets.

Crowdstrike Race to Anywhere 2021

A simulator video game was created for guests to practice driving the RC cars before the live event. Attendees played the simulator video game on event day as a qualifier to get a chance to race the RC cars live.

The RC cars had cameras and microphones mounted on them, and attendees controlled them from their computers at home. The event was live broadcasted with racing announcers commenting during each race.

My responsibilities: managing vendors, creative assets, on-site PAs, load-in and load-out. Invite fulfillment, tracking and managing expenses, updating website assets and copy, closing out the budget.
